About the Editor

Ali Stricklin is a speaker, founder, and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of culture, connection, and discernment.

She has spent nearly the last two decades in experiential marketing — designing gatherings, events, and environments that bring people, brands, and ideas together in ways that feel human and memorable. That work sharpened how she thinks about spaces, atmosphere, and why the details we overlook are often the ones that linger. It also planted the question that would eventually shape everything she built next: what makes connection real, and what quietly erodes it?

Ali is the founder of Refine Social Club, a community built around thoughtful connection and curated gathering, and the creator of The Practice by Refine — a framework for slowing down, choosing well, and engaging with life more deliberately. Considered is the editorial extension of that work: a place to explore the ideas, people, and observations that don't fit neatly into a caption or a conversation but deserve the room to breathe.

She is also a writer, interviewer, and the co-host of Refined & Unhinged — a candid, intergenerational podcast she hosts with her mom exploring identity, relationships, and modern life through honest conversation.

Her curiosity spans culture, design, music, travel, and the people who shape communities quietly and with care. Through Considered, she invites readers to slow down, trust their perspective, and pay closer attention to how they live, lead, and connect.
